Wilson joins River Fly-In as Sales and Marketing Director

River Fly-In announces the addition of Bill Wilson to its staff. Bill assumes the role of Director of Sales and Marketing. He comes to the project with a rich background in business and the military. Bill served in the Navy as an air controlman in the mid 60s, then went on to re-enlist in the Reserve as a Public Affairs Officer and serve 26 years until retirement in 1995.

His civilian careers include 20 years in broadcasting where he served as a television reporter, anchorman, producer and news director at TV stations in Indianapolis, Omaha, Syracuse and Dallas.

He then founded his own marketing company in Indianapolis in 1985 and ran it successfully until selling it in 2006. One of his principal activities was marketing resort real estate which prepared him perfectly for River Fly-In.

Bill is a commercial, instrument and multi-engine rated pilot, and has owned 11 aircraft from small experimentals to a Cessna 340. He now owns a Cessna 172N which he keeps at Merritt Island airport. He will be the principal contact for River Fly-In.
